Clever Band Room Safe Room
In the fall of 2011, the District welcomed the addition of an 11,500 s.f. Performing Arts Center to the High School. The addition was Master Planned and only required minor renovations to the existing facility. The auditorium seats over 540 patrons for musical and dramatic performances. A drama classroom and other ancillary spaces were also included.
A 4,500 s.f. Band classroom, adjacent to the Performing Arts Center functions as a FEMA 361 Tornado Safe Room, protecting students, faculty and staff, as well as community members, in the event of high wind storms.
