Neosho Goodman

Goodman Elementary, which is part of the Neosho School District, will receive funds from the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency, to build a stand-alone safe room capable of protecting 660 students, staff, and residents. It will also serve as a gymnasium.

The elementary school campus took a direct hit by an EF-2 tornado back on April 4, 2017. The school will receive $1.1 million to build the room, with a local contribution required, ranging from 10-25%.
