Architect Intern

Balance multiple project commitments, sectors, and deadlines.

Participate in planning, designing, illustrating, & presenting project ideas and vision.

Compiling storyboards and material selection based on client needs in preparation for client presentations.

Coordinate with project consultants for interior design, materials, and interior architecture solutions.

Work with the project team to ensure the project meets the Owner’s Vision and Sapp Design goals.

Collaborate on a wide variety of project types and sizes from conception through construction.

Developing and refining design concepts, renderings, and working on projects in all design phases.

 

Proficient in 3D modeling and rendering: Sketch-Up, Rhino, Enscape or other platforms.

Ability to communicate ideas in a variety of graphic media including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

 Revit experience 2021 or greater is preferred

Project Architect 

Location: Springfield or KC, Mo

Sapp Design is seeking a full-time licensed Architect to become part of our team. The ideal candidate would have a professional degree, licensed, with 2-10 years of experience, and have proficient skills in Revit, rendering, and a portfolio with completed commercial or public projects.

Interior Designer 

Location: Springfield, Mo

Position Description: Sapp Design Architects is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to join our team as a collaborative member in a blended design approach. The ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, with 3+ years of experience, and a portfolio with completed commercial or public projects. This individual would possess and apply interior design principles, practices, and procedures to complete assignments with originality and creativity.

Proficiency in 3D modeling, visualization, and graphics software.

Proficiency with Revit preferred.

Ability to communicate ideas in a variety of graphic media, preferably Adobe Suite.

Excels in critical thinking and has a passion for quality design.

Collaborative and professional work ethic.

Knowledge of FF&E to carry out design intent. •Strong verbal, organizational, and written communication skills.

Executive Secretary 

Location: Springfield, Mo

Sapp Design Associates Architects is seeking a Front Desk Representative to undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the desk of our main entrance. This person will be the “face” of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. A customer-oriented approach is essential. The goal is to make guests feel comfortable and valued while on our premises and on the phone.

 

Opening the office

Keep the front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary materials (pens, forms, paper, etc.)

Greet and welcome guests with coffee, water etc.

Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages

Receive letters, packages etc., and distribute them

Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels, tracking postage and copies

Check, sort and forward emails

Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary

Keep updated records and files including scanning and filing

Review and maintain office calendar with expos, birthdays, local events, and membership events

Keep kitchen counters tidy, clean coffee pot and turn coffee machine off at end of day

Take up other duties as assigned (travel arrangements, schedules etc.)

Coordinating annual trade show arrangements

Administrative support for all staff

Scheduling luncheons and documenting continuing education for certain staff

Create, replicate, and maintain Excel documents for various company uses and reports

Proven experience as a front desk representative, agent or relevant position

Familiarity with office printers

Proficient in English (oral and written)

Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
