HOLISTIC THINKING

It is not enough to just solve your immediate needs. Providing a viable solution depends upon the consideration of many external factors. These factors can have a significant impact on the success of a project. However, they are often overlooked when marginally examined. Our firm considers the history and future growth of your organization. We examine site, organizational needs, long-term implications and cost-benefit projections. We investigate multiple scenarios to provide you with a variety of feasible options. In this way, you are able to select from numerous innovative solutions that are refined to meet your specific needs.

Architecture

Architecture is the basis of who we are and what we do. Based in the heart of the Midwest Sapp Design has 30 years of award winning design and a relationship driven mindset.

Strategic Master Planning

Our master planning services create a living document that aligns your communities or organizations goals to strategically plan for growth with available resources.

Sustainable Design

Sustainable design initiatives are part of every project we work on. Our team has completed multiple LEED Certified buildings and even designed schools that score nationally in the top 5% in regargards energy efficiency.

Feasibility Studies

Often a first step in a project, as a means to explore a project’s viability. We analyze relevant factors such as the site, program, codes and aesthetic quality to help determine a budget.

Programming

Sometimes known as “the client wish list” our team can help refine space needs, space functions and adjacencies into a cohesive document that helps drive the design phase.

Furniture Corrdination

Furniture is a driving force in many design decisions today. Our team works with the best in Biz to make sure aesthetic and functional goals are coordinated.

Adaptive-Reuse

We love reinventing the use of an existing building while honoring the buildings it’s defining characters. While these buildings can be some of the most challenging they are considered one of the greenest form of sustainable design.

Safe Room Design

Since our first safe room in 2001, our team has become a national leader, having completed more the 40+ dual purpose structures designed to meet FEMA 361 and ICC 500 Standards

Visualizations

We seek to make your visions come alive with technology. Through the use of virtuality reality we can facilitate try before you buy design experience that can lead to better design solutions.
