Reed Academy will be a groundbreaking architectural design that seamlessly blends modern educational needs with a rich emphasis on the performing arts. The project includes the demolition of the existing 100 year old Reed Middle School at 2000 N. Lyon Ave. The project aims to construct an approximate 135,400 sf new middle school that embodies the spirit of the performing arts and serves as the vibrant heartbeat of the neighborhood.
The program consists of a multi-purpose auditorium and safe room, multiple band and music practice rooms, dance studios, a large central commons area, media center, core and elective classrooms, and an array of ancillary areas, that are designed to provide students with an immersive educational environment into various facets of performing arts.
