Realife Student Center
The Realife Student Center was designed as a dedicated home for Realife Student Ministries at James River Assembly in Ozark, Missouri. The existing 45,000-square-foot facility served as a central gathering place for student worship, fellowship, recreation, leadership development, and ministry activities. As the student ministry continued to grow, James River needed additional space that could support larger gatherings, improve the arrival experience, strengthen circulation, and provide more flexibility for the wide range of programs taking place throughout the week.
Sapp Design helped expand the facility with a 15,000-square-foot addition that enhanced both the function and identity of the student center. The expansion included a new 3,500-square-foot multipurpose room, an enlarged game room, expanded concourse and lobby areas, and additional administration and conference space. The project also introduced a new entry and canopy design, creating a more visible and welcoming front door for students, families, volunteers, and ministry leaders.
More than simply adding square footage, the expansion strengthened the student center as a high-energy ministry environment designed around connection, movement, and flexibility. The new and expanded spaces support a variety of uses, from worship and teaching to games, events, small-group gatherings, leadership meetings, and informal fellowship. The result is a more complete student ministry facility that gives James River the room, visibility, and flexibility needed to continue serving students in a dynamic and engaging way.
