Sherwood Elementary

The Springfield School District during the design of their new State of the Art net-zero capable Sherwood Elementary School, elected to construct the gymnasium as a Tornado Safe Room for the students and staff of this exciting new facility.  In addition to the students, this building shares common space with the Sertoma Boys and Girls Club as part of a partnership that provides before and after school programs as well as community programs serving the area residents.
