Nixa Summit Intermediate is featured in the November 2012 edition of the magazine, an annual competition honoring education design excellence, the Architectural Portfolio spotlights projects representing today’s most effective learning environments.

Kfor TV out of Oklahoma City did a great story on Joplin Schools and the new Irving Elementary School. This new school features 2 safe rooms incorporated into the design, one for the student population and functions as classroom space and the other for about 1200 people in surrounding community that functions as the schools main gym
