CIRCA 1894 Queen Anne Victorian
The McCann-Jewell House was renovated from a single-family residence to serve as the first Bed & Breakfast Inn for Springfield. This historical building required new fire stair construction within the existing building. Walls and floors were removed to accommodate this and other related features for the adaptive reuse. An entirely new mechanical system was installed within the building framework, along with other concealed support systems.Period furniture was used in decorating each room. Of particular interest was the exquisite detailing to painting the gingerbread exterior.
