The Calvary Baptist Church was an interior renovation of approximately 74,610 square feet. The interior was organized into (6) areas based on function or age group including Preschool/School classrooms, Youth activity areas, Administrative offices, Adult Classrooms, a Fellowship Hall and a central Sanctuary/Worship space. The facility was previously a grocery retail with adequate ceiling height for classroom and office functions, although the roof over the Sanctuary space was removed and raised to create additional ceiling height and a column-free space capable of seating 800.
The Calvary Baptist Church interior was organized to take full advantage of the existing restaurant, kitchen and dining areas for the Fellowship Hall function, complete with direct outside access and a covered drop-off area. Similarly, the Preschool/School children’s classrooms take advantage of a separate entrance and covered drop-off as well. A new entry tower feature was added at the main entrance and exterior finishes were updated to provide a clean, fresh look to the exterior.
